A three-day advanced I workshop for Managers and Growers

Location: Cambria Imperial Hotel, Imperial, CA.
Cost: $1250/if one person per room – including program & lunch daily plus, accommodation at the Cambria Imperial Hotel, Monday-Wednesday night.
($1000 per person includes all the above if two attendees per room.)
Course only (plus lunch and breaks) – $800 if using KAS tests/$1200 if not.

Course features 100 different examples showing reclamation, building and maintenance of soils from the California desert and other parts of the US, plus soil needs from various other areas including Mexico, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and South Africa.
All samples have been analyzed using the Kinsey/Albrecht System of soil analysis; course features specific tests to establish desired nutrient levels for crops and plantings on all types of soils with special emphasis on soils with high to excessive sodium and/or magnesium levels. The requirements for determining each nutrient measured to achieve good to excellent soil fertility are provided as a specific formula. Each step is expressed and completely explained as each nutrient is considered. All the necessary steps will be taken to show how we calculate the specific nutrient needed for each example used for the course.

Optional “Desert Soils” Tour
On Friday, Jan. 9, there will be an optional tour for course participants who would like to visit area growers utilizing our testing and fertilization program. Soil tests showing initial fertility levels and current changes will be provided. This gives an opportunity to see and ask questions concerning the use of the program.
NOTE: Your paid advanced registration is required by Monday December 29, 2025, to assure we have adequate space on the tour.
Tour from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Tour Cost: $250 each – includes lunch.
Course attendees & family: Only $150/person. Lodging not included.
