I’ve been a farmer and grazier since 1984 and through to 2003, when I met and attended Neal Kinsey’s course and realised that my farm was not performing the way it should. I tried lots of products and consultants, all of which cost me a lot of money but gave me very little in results. This track record made me suspicious of the Kinsey Albrecht model in the early years but I eventually realised that my property was getting much better and the problems I always struggled with, as in weeds, disease and insect pests as well as internal and external parasites in our livestock, became a distant memory.

Over the years we have run both sheep and cattle (breeding and fattening), grown triticale and oats for grain as well as many vegetable crops, mostly potatoes and snow peas for the fresh market. We went on to grow certified organic vegetables once we realised that the problems, some of which were overwhelming, were gone or at least of minor importance.

Our results became so obvious that other farmers were asking for our help, which has allowed us to start a soil consultancy and education service which we are very excited to extend to anyone looking for true farm health and productivity. My experience as a TAFE teacher in Agriculture and Horticulture for close to 20 years has given me the background needed to help students/farmers with their learning.
